AmeriCorps VIP Fellow

The AmeriCorps VIP (Volunteer Infrastructure Project) Fellow helps coordinate the Stand Strong Volunteer Program. They work with the Development & Communications Department to recruit new volunteers, put on the bi-annual 40-hr Trainings for Domestic Violence Peer Counselors, and maintain relationships with current volunteers. They also work with the Crisis Services Department to manage the Crisis Line sign-up software. Among other things, the VIP Fellow gains experience in volunteer coordination, fundraising and donor relations, special events, and training facilitation. They are an integral part of the Stand Strong team.

This position is available through a partnership with the Center for Service in Action at Cal Poly SLO.
